Week 7 Terms: Population- the entirety of a group that estimated by their performance Sample- a group actually included in the study Norming- refers to the process of constructing norms or the typical performance level of the achievement of the tested group Norm-reference Tests- the results are used to compare similar testers and then used to rank testers Criterion-reference Tests- Comparing testers' results to predetermined criteria based on test knowledge. Validity- whether the assessment measures what is supposed to be measured Reliability- if results can be produced under the same conditions.
