In week 8 we used the terms learned to apply to sample data. We went through step by step how to apply this data to excel formatting and create graphs to be used for different purposes. Data were analyzed for outliers needing more individual reteaching or small group review. As well as being used for parent conference evidence to make individual graphs for students to be used to show parents or guardians. Through excel we could find the mean, median, and STD for given data. Also could chart which section tested was scored at what. This data was used to understand which topics were comprehended best and which need to be retaught.

The information from these weeks will help guild our field investigation on assessment and be able to interpret testing scores. Knowing how to use excel formatting will be useful in creating a presentation to display and analyze scores found.
